How to Create a Custom Note Template Using Images?

Use your own custom note templates to save time, increase consistency and boost productivity. In this article, you'll learn the requirements and methods needed to create them.
Custom template requirements
Format: PNG, JPG, JPEG and WEBP
Size: 1404 px * 1872 px for A5 X, A6 X and A6 X2 Nomad; 1920 px * 2560 px for A5 X2 Manta (Recommended, not mandatory)
File name: special characters, such as \ / : * ? " < >, are not allowed.
Method 1
If you have an existing Word template that you want to import to Supernote, follow these steps:
- Import the template to Supernote and store it in the Document folder.
- Open the template.
- Swipe down from the top of the screen and take a screenshot of it.
- Transfer the screenshot to your computer.
- Set its width as 1404 px and height 1872 px. (You can use an online image editor to resize it.)
- Move the resized image back to the MyStyle folder on Supernote. (Step 4 and 5 are now optional.)
Note: This method is ideal for users who don't use Photoshop or are not familiar with similar image editing software.
Method 2
If you want to create a note template from scratch using an image editing software, such as Photoshop, follow these steps:
- Open Photoshop on your computer.
- Click File > New to create a canvas and enter preset details, including width and height.
- Draw a note template on the canvas according to your specific needs.
- Click File > Save As to save the template as PNG/JPG/JPEG/WEBP.
- Specify a filename and location. (Do not include special characters in the filename.)
- Import the template from your computer to Supernote and store it in the MyStyle folder.
Method 3
- Open a notebook on Supernote.
- Start drawing a template on a note page according to your specific needs.
- Export the template to PNG and select the right size: 1404 px * 1872 px (Recommended, not mandatory).
- Rename the exported template and make sure no special characters are included in the filename.
- Move it to the MyStyle folder.
Note: The custom templates can now be put in a MyStyle subfolder to show up under the Customization tab in notes.
