Newly added keyboards Configure virtual keyboard settings Set up handwriting keyboard

Newly added keyboards

 The following virtual keyboards are now available on Supernote: 

  • German (Germany)
  • German (Austria)
  • German (Belgium)
  • German (Luxembourg)
  • German (Switzerland) 
  • French (France)
  • French (Canada) 

Starting with Chauvet 2.10.25, we have now added support for the following virtual keyboards:

  • Hebrew
  • Arabic (Saudi Arabia)
  • Arabic (Egypt) 

Configure virtual keyboard settings

Learn how you can confirgure your keyboard settings to satisfy your specific needs.

  1. Swipe down from the top of the screen and tap in the top menu bar. 
  2. Tap Display & Input. 
  3. Tap Keyboard. 
  4. Tap Add Keyboard if your desired language keyboard isn't already added.
  5. Tap to the far right of the language keyboard you want to add.
  6. To remove one language keyboard, tap . 

Alternatively, when you bring up the virtual keyboard in notes or documents, you can follow the steps below to set up your keyboard.

  1. Single-tap the globe icon to cycle through the language keyboards you've installed.
  2. Long press the globe icon to have an overview of the current keyboard settings without leaving the existing page. 
  3. Tap Keyboard Settings to add or remove a language keyboard. 
  4. On the Add Keyboard page, tap to the far right of the language keyboard you want to add.
  5. To remove one language keyboard, tap . 

Set up handwriting keyboard

To set up your handwriting keyboard, follow these steps: 

  1. Swipe down from the top of the screen and tap in the top menu bar. 
  2. Tap Display & Input. 
  3. Tap Keyboard. 
  4. Tap anywhere on the Handwriting line. 
  5. Tap the circle to the far right of your desired handwriting recognition language to select it. 

If your desired handwriting recognition language isn't already installed, do the following: 

  1. Tap Add Language. 
  2. Download the corresponding language pack by tapping the download icon. 
  3. On the Handwriting Recognition Language page, tap the circle to the far right of the newly installed language to select it. 

Note: Only one handwriting recognition language can be selected and used at a time.
