Install directly from InkHub Install a Plugin Package Manage Plugin Permissions How to Run Plugins Uninstall Plugins Discover More Plugins

Supernote plugins extend the functionality of your device, allowing you to customize your workflow with community-built tools. There are two ways to install a plugin: through the InkHub app, or by selecting a downloaded plugin package.

Install directly from InkHub

  1. Open the InkHub app.
  2. Tap Plugins.
  3. Browse or search for a plugin. Tap the plugin to open its details page.
  4. Tap Install. The plugin will be installed immediately, and the package will not be saved to your device.

Note: You can install up to 30 plugins, but only enable up to 10 at the same time.

Install a Plugin Package

You can install a plugin package manually if:

  1. You downloaded a .snplg file from GitHub. You will first need to transfer this file to the MyStyle folder on your Supernote via USB or cloud sync.
  2. You tapped Download in the InkHub app. The system automatically saves the package to your MyStyle folder.

To install the package:

  1.  Go to Settings > Apps > Plugins.
  2. Tap Select Plugin Package.
  3. Locate and select the .snplg file from the MyStyle folder, then tap Install in the top right corner.

Note: Plugins downloaded directly from third-party sources (like GitHub) bypass our official review process.

Manage Plugin Permissions

For security, plugins may require certain permissions to function.

  1. On the Plugins list, tap a plugin to open its settings.
  2. Tap Permissions.
  3. Review the permissions (e.g., Read Files, Modify Files, Delete Files).
  4. Tap a permission to choose one of the following options:
    1. Allow: Grants the permission without prompting.
    2. Ask Every Time: Prompts you for approval each time the plugin attempts the action.
    3. Don't Allow: Blocks the permission entirely.

How to Run Plugins

Plugins run inside your notes and documents, rather than as standalone apps in the app list.

  • Open a notebook or document.
  • Tap the Plugins icon on the toolbar.
  • Select the plugin you want to use. It will launch and appear on your screen.

Uninstall Plugins

  1. On the Plugins list, tap the plugin you want to remove.
  2. Tap Uninstall.
