Move a file Move a page

You can move notebooks, ebooks, EPUB/PDF documents to folders and keep files on your Supernote organized. You can also move pages within the same notebook and between notebooks. 

Move a file

  • To an existing folder
  1. Tap Files in the sidebar menu. 
  2. Open a folder.
  3. Long press the file you want to move.
  4. Tap Move on the top function bar.
  5. Select an existing subfolder in the same folder.
  6. Or select another folder by tapping Supernote in the directory path shown in the top left corner.
  7. Tap OK.

  • To a new folder
  1. Tap Files in the sidebar menu.
  2. Open a folder.
  3. Long press the file you want to move.
  4. Tap Move on the top function bar.
  5. Tap the New Folder icon in the top right corner.
  6. Tap OK.

Note: You can move multiple files at once by checking the boxes to the left of the files you want to move.


Move a page

  • Within the same notebook
  1. Open a notebook.
  2. Tap the three-dot More menu on the toolbar (when it's docked at the top/bottom of the screen).
  3. Tap Pages.
  4. Long press the page you want to move.
  5. Tap the Move button on the top function bar.
  6. Select a target page. (If you select the target page as the same page you want to move, there won't be any changes.)
  7. In the top left corner, select Before page or After page to move the selected page before or after the target page. 

Note: You can move multiple pages at once by checking the boxes in the top left corner of the page thumbnails in Overview.


  • Between notebooks
  1. Open a notebook.
  2. Navigate to the page you want to move.
  3. Tap the three-dot More menu on the toolbar. 
  4. Tap Copy Current Page if you want to keep the page intact in the notebook, or Cut Current Page if you want to remove the page from the notebook.
  5. Open another notebook.
  6. Tap the three-dot More menu on the toolbar.
  7. Tap Paste Page to have the copied page pasted to the page after the current page you are on.

Note: To insert multiple copies of the same copied page, repeat Paste Page.
